An all time fave! Healthy, quick and easy snack to put together for a last minute guest. Or you can make if you're after something that is tasty and wholesome.
You can mix and change up the ingredients depending on what is in your pantry. Our fave key essentials for making them are frozen berries, oats, dried fruit and cacao powder. All ingredients are approx amounts. Change around to what your taste buds like.
1 1/2 cups of oats (and/or puffed rice)
1/2 cup dried fruit - including sultanas, apricots, dates etc
1/4 cup pepitas
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon rice malt syrup
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons cacao powder
1/2 cup frozen berries
1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional)
Handful of nuts (optional)
Handful of dark chocolate (optional)
Blend until smooth and roll into balls. You can coat/roll in coconut if you like. Makes approx 30 balls.
