Recondition, renew and revitalise wooden items with this gorgeous wood balm using clean hands or a soft cloth.
DIRECTIONS: Use balm on chopping boards, utensils, wooden toys etc. Clean and dry items well before applying. Allow the balm to dry before use. Kindly note it can take up to 24-48 hours for items to dry once the balm has been applied.
INGREDIENTS: Our balm is handmade in small batches, using beautiful and natural ingredients, including locally sourced beeswax, food-grade organic linseed oil (a.k.a flaxseed oil) together with the antioxidant tocopherol (vitamin E).
Why Linseed Oil? It's an oil obtained by pressing the flax plant. Raw linseed oil is safe for human consumption. It's known for its water-repelling properties and gorgeous gloss after being applied.
Why Beeswax? It helps protect your boards, gives your boards a lovely shine and a smooth finish. After regular use, your wood cutting boards may become warped or cracked, conditioning them helps create a protective seal.
