Reimie's Perfect Popcorn

This recipe makes a LOT of popcorn so if you don't need heaps, you may want to half the recipe. We usually eat some and then put the rest in a container for lunches, play dates etc. Who would have thought that popcorn is so much harder to make than you think. Here is how the hubby has mastered it:

1 cup popcorn

2-3 tablespoons olive oil (of course we use Santa Marta olive oil)

1 teaspoon Murray River pink salt

x2 chunks of unsalted butter

Pepper (optional)

  1. Put all ingredients in a large pot, make sure the oil is covering the popcorn.
  2. Cook on high and turn off once popping slows right down.
